I am humming to the tune of the Fiddler on the Roof. The tune is catchy and helps me to think. While I think, I close my eyes with my head lifted, as if looking at the sky. My fingers on my right hand keep on tapping the table while the fingers on my left hand are caressing my face. When I feel a lump that seems like a blackhead, I prick it with my nails. This is not a good idea, but somehow this helps me to think. Whenever I need to write a topic, this seems like a mannerism. I do this routine.
Hmmmm...a thought just came to mind. Why not put some face cream on my face while I try to massage it? I think that should relax me pretty well as I try to knead my face. As well know, a relaxed person can think better. Next time I go to the mall, I will go to their beauty store and find myself a good brand of face. At my age and with my work, I think I really need on as soon as possible!
I have a friend who is often ranting about her ugly scars on her face. I cannot blame her. She had been plagued with nodular acne most of her life, starting with her teen years. Her red bumps do not come altogether, but mostly one at a time or two a time but they become so big and red and eventually she would prick them until the yellowish liquid comes out. Then she is happy because after the pus comes out, the bump dries up and heals.
But there is a problem with that. After the wound heals, the skin on the area where the pimple grew then depresses and become an ugly mark. Through the years, she has collected many marks all over her face that one time she ranted, “Why can’t you all grow in the same place all the time?” hihi Of course, it does not happen.
Now that she is older and the moisture is depleting from her skin, the holes are becoming deeper and deeper and the only treatment offered to her was a collagen injection. Gee, I am just happy that I don’t have problem with acne. It is truly my friend’s big problem.
My youngest daughter loved watching the movie Fire & Ice. Every time we play it on our DVD, she watches the movie intently for the first 10 to 15 minutes of the film. That is already long for a one year old who loves walking and exploring everything inside and outside the house.
Because we play the movie almost every week, my older children would somehow talk along the lines spoken by the actors. It seems that they already memorized some of it. As for me, my unforgettable part was when the princess was asked if she had a weapon, then she replied that she has a knife. From the looks of it, it was one of those medieval looking knives. So, the person who asked her said that knives are not weapons but cutlery. Well during their times yet, knives are more like related to food preparation rather than weapons unlike our modern day utility knives, you can use it from food, wood, and even for self-defense.
Anyway, speaking about the movie, my daughter still loves watching the movie. We play it once to twice every week especially when she is being cranky. She behaves when she sees the horses running the mountainous area.
