Eater

While there are people who are considered “haters,” I call myself an “eater.” Oh my goodness! Instead of basking myself in hate, I would rather wallow myself in food! Waaaa

I know that is not a good thing but I really love food. And I can be an adventurous eater, too. If I will just go out and scour the streets, I can really find incredible edibles, either in stores or in food carts along the streets. And the thing is, I am willing to try them! While others can be queasy about eating in the streets, it is not a bad thing really. There are really good and affordable foods in these stalls. You just have to find one that practices at least the basic sanitary practices.

That is the reason why I am not losing weight but am instead packing in the pounds. No doubt about that. If we don’t zipper our mouths, we will continue to balloon in size! hehe

Meet-Up Ideas

Posted on 22nd February 2011 by admin in personal musings

I have attended a number of blogger meet-ups and I know how fun those events can be. That’s why I’m planning on setting up similar meet-ups when as soon as I’m settled in CDO. This early, I’m already cooking up meet-up ideas and one idea that’s forcing its way into my mind is a costume party.

I really think a bloggers’ costume party would be a great idea. It would be fun to see hundreds of bloggers wearing unique costumes. In fact, I’m already looking at schoolgirl costumes because I plan to attend the party as a schoolgirl. The costumes are so cute and the color choices are pretty as well. There are even sexy schoolgirl costumes which are fun and flirty at the same time. But of course, I won’t be wearing that if ever.

I already know bloggers who hail from CDO so I guess what I’m going to do once I get there is to coordinate will the bloggers first. After that, I will start looking for a place where the meet-up can be held.

Imported Vitamins

Posted on 21st February 2011 by admin in personal musings

Many people think that if we take vitamins from the United States, they are of better quality than what we have here locally. I guess that is because vitamin supplements from the US have a higher dosage. And that explains why there are people who cannot stomach them.

My remedy then is this—I cut the imported vitamin in half and take only half for the day. I guess that is only what my body can take.

So for me, the best vitamins supplements are those that your body can accept. It doesn’t matter if it is expensive or not, local or imported, as long as your body likes it and you have improved performance because of your vitamin.

And well, I guess we just all have to take a vitamin supplement or two because our foods are already depleted of nutrients and we need the supplementation of necessary vitamins and minerals for our bodies to function properly. That means, imported may not necessarily mean the best for us.
