There is a saying that when something is too good to be true then most probably it is. That is what happened to sears.com yesterday. Although they claimed it was the mistake of a third party marketer, sears.com had published that ipad2 was only selling for $69 as compared to its original price of $750.
The news became viral and so many people ordered the iPad 2 from their site. But hours later, the sears.com announced that they will not honor the transaction and they will refund their buyers. Tsk tsk. Too bad. I guess I would rather believe if there are clearance laptops because these are sure to be really good buys. And at least, their prices would be believable and I won’t be disappointed.
I was going through some of my files in relation to my business and I just realized that some of them are in total disarray. I can’t quite put my business into order if my files are disorganized so I’m contemplating on starting from scratch to organize my business.
But I believe that in order to organize it, I need to organize my thoughts as well. I guess I have so many things in mind that often, I tend to overlook other important stuff. Maybe it’s time I invest on a specialized program to help me systematize my business. Perhaps something like bi software or business intelligence software that can help me sort out each transaction so I can better track my collectibles.
Perhaps when I finally move back to my hometown, I’d be able to put everything in order. I would have less things to think and worry about once I am back there.
The other day, I was excitedly trying out my new netbook when my youngest daughter evicted me from it. So I had to go to my workstation so I could get some work done. But no sooner have I sat down when my eldest asked if she could play Feeding Frenzy. Since it was a Sunday and all homework has been accomplished, I let her play.
I reasoned that there was another workstation I could use but I didn’t know that my son have beaten me to it. With all computers occupied, I had no choice but to connect to the Internet using my mobile phone. Thank God for wireless routers because I was able to browse the Web without eating up my mobile phone credits.
That really is Internet connectivity at its finest. Not only do I get to connect to the Internet quickly. I’m also able to browse for free. I love Wi-Fi!
