Remember the cassette tapes that hold our favorite songs way back in the 1980s and up to the mid 1990s? Don’t you wish they can be saved on CDs and played on a CD player? Or what about our favorite films which may still be in those VHS or video tapes and now we want them to be kept in more durable DVDs? Technology has moved on and it seems that so must we.

How about our television sets? We’ve moved on from analog to digital television. So it is with our mobile phones. They used to serve as well even if they were analog but now we want our phones to be digital. About a decade back, we were not talking much about converters such as converter analog to digital. But now, we are all keen to know how it works, its uses. In the area of technology, we are definitely moving on.

Father’s Day Present

Summer is almost over and I know what it means: it will be school opening in over a month. For a parent like me, it means getting ready for getting those bags, shoes and school supplies. It also means that since the kids would be away for school, I would have time for myself and get more rest. Well, that’s the positive side of this whole thing, I guess.
Wait, when I think of June, I also remember one thing: Father’s Day. I am thinking of getting my hubby an Emg. He is so musically inclined and I am sure he would appreciate a present that would enhance his musical skills!

Ancient sculptors always fascinate my eyes, like the sphinx and the faces of pharaohs. Even the wall carvings and wall fountain in temples and domes are amazing and I also wonder how they have done those very intricate architectures. Take a look of the pyramids of how they are able to put those huge blocks at the top of one another.

I think ancient civilizations have an unusual calling for intelligence considering the magnitude of the constructions they have done without using any sophisticated equipment. I wonder how architects before made their blue prints for their projects. It’s just so amazing how they push through in building those super structures.

A friend of mine is so interested in going back to school. But because she has children to take care of and they are still little ones, being in school physically is one hindrance. She could not leave her little babies to just anyone because her in-laws also have work.
