Kid’s Band

Hubby is a musician, and I’m happy that the kids got his ear for music. Our kids love to sing, and our youngest would even attempt to strum the guitar—of course she has to know how to put her little fingers on the frets, but getting the right timing when strumming at 3 is an achievement enough, right?

I really don’t mind if our kids would play in bands when they grow older. I would be a happy mom cheering for them at the background. Hopefully there would be enough space in our house for their musical instruments—I don’t mind buying zildjian pitch black cymbals for the band to show my support. Of course I know the house would be a lot noisier, but it will not matter for a happy and proud mom like me.

So most young ladies preparing for their prom night would save up money to rent or buy the dress they have always wanted to wear, like one of those Sherri Hill prom dresses. Looking beautiful for prom for some would be an investment. Surely no one likes to look horrible in photos, or in the class yearbook, right?

What I Really Wanted in College

When I graduated in high school, my first priority when I was applying for college was B.S. Biology. I was planning to go Med School after. But since money was not readily available for us, I decided to take up Civil Engineering instead at a local college near our home.

Since I was not that dumb (LOL!), I graduated from Civil Engineering and ate MATH for 5 years! It was hard but I made it! But after college, I never took the board exam. I realized that I never wanted to become a Civil Engineer anyway. I wanted to be employed with Obstetrician & Gynecologist Jobs or else start my own clinic. If I didn’t end up as a doctor, I also wanted to become a teacher or a computer programmer.

Oh well, I never ended up any of those I wanted back when I was a bit younger but I ended up as a stay-at-home mom – the most highest paid position in the world!!

Have you watched Gnomeo & Juliet? You know they are not really alive like the movie animation suggested but it putting a garden gnome will make your garden interesting to look at. Since gnomes are naturally small, they are cute. Plant some flowers and your garden will really be very nice. Add some design in the landscaping so even taking pictures will be worth taking and sharing to family and friends. Maybe you can even make a nice entry in some photo contests. A table with two or three stools will also add to the beauty of your garden, not to mention the time that you spend with your family or friends over coffee, tea or even milk.

What is your style in clothing? Do you wear anything that is out in the market? If you see a fashion show trend, do you immediately jump on and pick up what are new? Many of the fashion show displays are outlandish. Do you follow? Are you daring enough to wear fishnet tops with nothing under? Do you not care what others will think about you if you are seen in that wild outfit?
