In Search of Affordable Scanner Software

Just because most of the pictures I take nowadays are digital images and can easily be stored in my computer or mobile phone, it doesn’t mean that I don’t have any need for printed pictures anymore. I think it’s still a good idea to maintain photo albums.

That way, when there are visitors in the house, they’ll have something to browse and the same time, they get to be a part of our family’s happy memories. Of course, in order to do that, I would need a scanner. Well, it’s easy to look for one. It’s the scanner software that needs careful consideration because not all software is the same. I would need one that’s easy to install and use but not too expensive.

I would probably need one which has controls to help me correct the tonal quality and color balance of the scanned image so that the end result would be something nice to look at. Better add that on my list of to-dos for this day.
