A few days ago, I attended the Blogapalooza #connecteD Event in the City of Dreams Manila. This was my third year of attending this yearly event for bloggers and social media influencers. The first one was back in 2016 at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center. All experiences in each event were equally unique and amazing. Each has something to take away in forms of learning, engaging, and connecting.
For this year, let me clearly share with you the three reasons why I like Blogapalooza #connecteD Event 2018:
1. Learning from the Young and the New.
This year was a mix of millennial influencers and those that transitioned to new media. The speakers of the younger generations are those who are thriving and succeeding in the digital realm at their own right. Amazingly, these younglings are really talented and are serious in providing quality content. And for those who transitioned, from traditional media to the digital world, you will see how their journey has been for them.
Both coming from different generations, you will find that the struggles, the challenges, and the coping-up mechanisms have been very different. With the dynamic and fast-paced digital world, staying relevant and playing in this industry comes with a price to pay.
2. Engaging Different Brands.
Aside from the learnings that were imparted, Blogapalooza is also the event to which a blogger like me can connect with different companies that are new and for some who have been around. It is always a treat to be able to listen to these brands as they present their companies and the products and/or services they offer. It makes me proud that most of the companies that I was able to listen are run by young entrepreneurs or coming from innovative people who try to carve their own niche in the market.
3. Connecting with Friends in the Industry.
One of the reasons why I always look forward to attending Blogapalooza event yearly is meeting friends in the industry, particularly in the blogging scene. This is the event where I get to meet my blogger friends from Luzon, Visayas, and different parts of Mindanao. This is where we get to update each other in the physical realm and not just the online world. Seeing the faces behind these blogs is particularly a heartwarming scene for someone like me. I am very emotional when it comes to forming real friendship online to offline.

And this year was extra special. This year was the biggest delegation we have from Cagayan de Oro Bloggers Network.

And for that, I am so grateful to her together with the entire #BlogaFam. Thank you for including us and making the event possible and successful each year. Hopefully, we will be able to see you again next year!
